We recently had our wedding at Tracey Estate and we honestly wouldn't have changed a single thing about the day. Not only is the venue beautiful, but Howard and Ed were so easy to work with and so accommodating to everything that we wanted to do to make our day as special as possible. The day seemed to pass seamlessly due to their high levels of organisation and they were always on hand to quickly answer questions or help with everything that we needed. Thank you so much, guys!

I happened to stumble across Tracey estate when we were looking at other alternatives and this met all our needs, marquee diy low key venue, camping facilities, having the whole venue for 3 days, beautiful surroundings it was an absolute no brainer for us.
It was important that it felt very calm and relaxed and this just flowed from Howard and the family. The atmosphere and calm reassurance we felt from the team in the two years prior to the wedding, the build up and setting up, the actual day and the Sunday after. We wanted to just let the beauty of the venue speak for itself, We had never visited on a nice day, we had only ever seen it in drizzle and still loved it. I think the last thing to add would be how everything flowed. Some weddings can feel quite disjointed but the ceremony flowed into the reception, the kids playing outside, into the evening, everything felt very natural and unforced which meant the guests and us just relaxed and let go.

‘From the moment we visited Tracey Estate we knew instantly that it was the place we wanted to get married. The Victorian sunken garden was breathtakingly beautiful and created the most perfect intimate setting for our wedding ceremony. The surrounding grounds are stunning and provided us with plentiful photograph opportunities and allowed our guests to walk around and take in its natural beauty. Once again please accept our heartfelt thanks for all your time, hard work, support, and generosity in helping us with our wedding. From the moment we set eyes on Tracey last September we fell in love with the venue and knew it would be perfect for our wedding. More than this though, was meeting you all and seeing what lovely people you all are, which was the most important thing for us.
You gave us exactly the wedding we wanted and we can honestly say it was undoubtedly the best day of our lives. The grounds looked immaculate, and we loved the touches of the new seating area and the spectacular fountain. It was all wonderful.

Amazing place to stay the night before, it gave our guests the opportunity to camp which with our Glastonbury theme, worked well and allowed people to enjoy the wedding without the worry of how to get home.

As soon as we drove up to Tracey Estate and saw the amazing view, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. In addition to this, we loved the friendly welcome, the flexibility and the fact that we weren't restricted and could really make it ‘our wedding’ not just a wedding. After seeing the beautiful sunken garden, we really couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
We loved the fact that it was family run and not corporate. The guys were all informal yet professional and did everything they could to make our day run smoothly and how we'd imagined. When we were let down by our caterers running the bar - they stepped straight in and did an amazing job. They really couldn't do enough to make our day perfect - magical and love-filled.

Tracey Estate struck us immediately as a unique and stunningly beautiful venue with the perfect mix of outdoor natural landscape, woodland and indoor space that we were looking for to host our festival wedding. With camping on offer and a full weekend hire rate, it allowed us to the time and scope to enlist the help of a working party of close friends to help us set up the venue on the Friday before all our guests joined us for the main ceremony on Saturday. We also appreciated the personal approach and helpful flexibility of the Tracey Estate team throughout the process from booking through to the event itself.
There were so many wow factors about the venue! The stunning woodland not only looked beautiful but also provided an exciting setting in which to situate various special elements of the wedding for our guests to discover when exploring the site. And as we moved from day into night, the mix of uplighters, fairy lights and swedish candles around the sunken garden and woods at night transformed it into a really magical place. Our guests were blown away by the place, just as we had been from first setting foot there a year before.

We chose Tracey Estate because it was one of the first places we spoke to that didn't have very prescriptive rules around what suppliers we could use (e.g. caterers). We also absolutely fell in love with the place when we saw the photos on the website and then visited. Having the option for guests to camp was also perfect for what we were looking for.
The whole day was just perfect. I started the day with an hour of yoga on the lawn at the front of the house which I think did something magical (!). The food was incredible, we were hugely lucky with the weather and all the proceedings went without a hitch. Your team was a great help throughout the whole process.

Tracey Estate gave us the opportunity to put our own stamp on the day (without having to do it all from scratch!). We didn't want somewhere that did millions of weddings a year and we really liked the story behind the venue. Our first visit with Howard (and Merlot!) was really friendly, down to earth and non-pushy. I also totally fell in love with the woodlands!
We also felt we were contributing to the future restoration of the gardens, and its use for educating the wider public.

Howard, Abbie, Ed and all of the Furnivals were so accommodating and helpful, offering ideas and helping us through all the planning and preparation leading up to our big day, we can’t thank them enough! They all really made our day extra special and we feel privileged to have been the first couple to hold their wedding there. All of our guests were blown away with the setting - the Sunken Garden, the gardens and the views - and told us how lucky we were to have such an amazing venue.
We have no doubts that those who choose Tracey as their venue will fall in love just as we have and will have the most perfect day. Tracey is the venue of dreams and we would give anything to be able to relive our day again!

We simply could not believe our luck. Paired with an incredibly accommodating and helpful pair of hosts, we knew that it had to be Tracey Estate straight away. We fell in love with the woodland setting, the beautiful views and luscious lawns as soon as we saw them for the first time. We couldn't believe the number of potential locations to stage the ceremony, reception and party.
In the months leading up to the wedding, we were able to see the venue in all it's winter, spring and summer glory. It's a beautiful place, run by two wonderful people and their family, who all went above and beyond their duties to make sure we had the most amazing day in our lives.

We were looking for somewhere that was big enough to accommodate our guest list (140+) but with the flexibility to allow us to do our own thing and that wouldn’t break the bank! We loved the fact that the location felt rural and rustic while also being well connected by road and rail for people coming from London and further afield.
The deciding factor, though, was meeting Abbie and Howard – they were so welcoming, relaxed and positive and made us feel like anything was possible.
Kids were able to exlpore the gardens, make dens in the bushes and have brilliant adventures – it was something I hadn’t anticipated, and it was so lovely to see how all our guests responded to the venue. Seeing the gardens lit up by hundreds of fairy lights in the evening was truly magical – so many of our guests mentioned how beautiful it was.
Abbie, Howard and Ed pulled out all the stops for us, going above and beyond the call of duty in so many ways. They worked so hard with such attention to detail, and we really appreciated all their efforts. We’re sure Tracey Estate will go from strength to strength as a wedding venue and we feel lucky to have been there at the beginning.
