Are you registered to hold wedding ceremonies at Tracey?
Yes. Contact East Devon District Council registrars for availability.
Can we run our own bar?
You can either provide refreshments for your guests yourselves, or we can provide a fully stocked bar with local ales and ciders. When we run the bar for your guests you can still provide the table wine and sparklling for toast with no corkage charge.
Can we collect everything the next day?
Yes that's no problem, you are hiring the venue for three full days (Friday - Sunday) to allow for set up and then pack away.
Can guests and the wedding party camp?
Yes, we have camping in the Yew Tree Circle with a small charge for tents/camper-vans, and we have bell tents for hire if required.
When do we need to have cleared the wedding by?
The wedding should be cleared by 4pm the day after your wedding.
Do you have your own catering service?
No we don't but we have some fantastic local contacts that we can put you in touch with so you can create your day how you would like it, or you can choose your own.
Do you supply cutlery, crockery, glass wear, tablecloths and napkins, etc.?
No. All of our recommended caterers provide these items as part of their package. You will find that most good caterers can provide this option for you.
Are toilets available?
Yes, included in the package is a toilet block and a fully accessible toilet.
Is there plenty of shade if it's very hot on our wedding day?
Yes, there are many areas where guests can go to enjoy the unique gardens. As part of the planning for your wedding we can help you plot out the different stages of your reception to make the most of your surroundings.
If there anywhere to set up games?
Yes we have a large, flat lawn which is referred to as the old tennis court as well as a large parkland field to look out over.
Is there parking available at Tracey?
Yes, our carpark can comfortably accommodate up to 30 cars plus overflow parking.
Can we have fireworks?
Tracey Estate is home to a lot of wildlife and farm animals and so fireworks are not permitted.
How level is Tracey Parkland and Gardens? Is it suitable for my elderly or disabled guests?
Yes, we have a level terrace and tennis court which is adjacent to the parking as well as a disabled toilet.
Can we have confetti?
Biodegradable confetti such as flower petals are very welcome, please do not bring any synthetic confetti or glitter as this will not decompose.
